Justin Metcalf - World Barista Judge

Justin is one of Australia’s most recognized Coffee & Café consultants, and a Master coffee roaster.  
Originally providing café training and promoting the Specialty Coffee industry in Australia, Justin progressed to coffee education throughout the world. Justin began his Barista Judging career nationally in 2000. He first represented Australia as a judge in Oslo, Norway in 2002 at the World Barista Championship. In 2004 the World Barista Committee certified Justin as a WBC International Judge in Trieste, Italy.  This was followed up with the honour of his selection to judge the final of the 2004 World Barista 

In 2005, Justin became the first Australian to be Head Judge of the World Barista Final in Seattle, USA. He assumed the mantle again in 2006 in Berne, Switzerland. Justin has also judged in Australia, New Zealand, USA, Mexico, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Europe and Scandinavia.

Duncan Jamieson - Food Scientist/Marketer

Duncan is a qualified and highly-experienced Food Scientist/Technologist, with degrees in Applied Science and Marketing. For many years Duncan has been involved in food research, product development, legislation, and marketing, working for many multi-national food companies. Operating as a consultant to the food industry, he has been  associated with products and production facilities involved in diverse and varied food categories including cocoa and chocolate, beverage, dairy, confectionery, health foods, nutritional and functional foods, active pro/pre-biotic supplements and much more. With an extensive knowledge of food processing, Duncan joined with Justin in 2005, together focusing on building a truly innovative and unique coffee company.
